International Football Development Program

IFDP is a pioneering initiative aimed at fostering football talent across all levels. Launched by India On Track (IOT), IFDP is dedicated to nurturing young athletes and providing them with the best-in-class training, resources, and opportunities to excel in football.

With a focus on holistic development, the programs combine technical skills training, physical conditioning, and mental fortitude to create well-rounded footballers ready to compete at both national and international levels.

Hosted in partnership with Ebre Talent, a football training organisation located in Amposta, Tarragona. The program has a rich history of developing talent and working with international students to hone them into young professionals. They have a reputed development program that is built around the diverse needs of its international students with coaching plans adapted to work with these diverse talents.

Josep Gombau
The current head coach of Aston Villa U21, he is
leading the innovative Ebre Talent initiative. With a rich
background in youth player development, Josep brings his
extensive experience to this role. He has previously worked
with Indian Super League clubs like Delhi Dynamos and Odisha FC, honing his expertise in nurturing young talents. His global experience with youth players equips him with unique insights to prepare them for the challenges of professional integration. Under his guidance, Ebre Talent aims to foster the next generation of football stars, blending skill development with professional readiness.
Carlos Rodriguez
Also known as 'Cholla,' is the head coach at
Ebre Talent. With a background as a former Striker during his playing days, Carlos has demonstrated a keen eye for
developing young strikers throughout his coaching career.
Having coached teams such as Rapitenca, Tortosa, and
Amposta, Carlos brings a wealth of experience to the table. His current role as the main coach at Ebre Talent further solidifies his commitment to nurturing and refining the skills of aspiring football players with his childlike energy, enthusiasm and passion for youth development.

Our Elite Training in Portugal

Hosted in partnership with G.D. Estoril Praia, a premier club from Portugal, with the aim of creating the Indian Football elite of tomorrow. The elite academy offers an intense coaching curriculum focusing on all-round technical, tactical and physical aspects of a player’s development. Based just outside Lisbon, they play at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota, with a capacity of 8,000 seats, and have 9 senior trophies gracing their trophy cabinet.

The club has a rich history of developing talent and working with international students to hone them into young professionals. They have a reputed youth development programme that is built around the varied needs and diverse talent of its international students.

Holistic Player Development Curriculum

Participants are a part of a world-class program where Estoril's key personnel commit themselves
to supervise and manage the growth of select players. The program is unique and has two stages:
year-round training & progression assistance in India & Europe.

Best in Class Education

The program recognizes that mental growth of players is imperative and ensures that players retain the flexibility to return to India, are academically stronger and seamlessly integrate back into Indian
education system. The school customizes its timings and offers a special price.

Home away from home

Participants reside in Estoril (Cascais), an exclusive suburb of Lisbon, in close proximity to the stadium, training facilities, school and other essential amenities. The program ensures a family environment for the participating students, along with essentials like Indian food.

International Program Customised for Indian Needs

Based on IOT's experience and parents' feedback, the program is carefully designed and customized
to address the need of young players from India (including a chef and full-time caretaker.) The curriculum, residential facilities, embedded education and the general lifestyle and well-being of the players are taken care of.

Hugo Leal
Hugo Leal, a reputed Portuguese International player, currently spearheads the youth development program at Estoril.His visionary leadership and passion for the holistic development of young players positively influenced IOT's tie-up with Estoril. Hugo has played for clubs such as Porto, PSG and Benefica apart from his home club Estoril. Players will draw inspiration from his hands - on supervision and interactions.

Camps & Workshops

Annual Programs

International camps offer athletes the chance to train abroad, experiencing different coaching styles and competitive environments. These camps are designed to expose athletes to global standards and enhance their international competitiveness.

Long-term Camps

Residential camps provide an immersive experience where athletes live and train in a dedicated facility. These camps offer round-the-clock access to training resources, coaching staff, and amenities, ensuring a comprehensive development environment.

Short-term Camps

IOT organizes Summer & Winter Camps and Elite Development Camps lasting between 1-4 weeks, Technical Workshops ranging between 1-7 days, as well as weekend Fitness & Nutrition Workshops.
